About Youssef Youssef

My name is Youssef, I am a human being who is also a photographer. I am from Egypt and based in Barcelona. I like taking photos and looking at photos. I enjoy the observation and slowing down that comes with photography, as well as finding beauty in the mundane.

I view photography, and art, as both a tool for self expression and self discovery. My current work is mainly street photography aiming to document contemporary culture.

I also write a weekly blog about photography.
